First Review; Shutter Island!

It’s 1954 and two U.S. Marshals, Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), are about to begin an investigation at a remote island’s psychiatric facility specializing in the insane/murderous population that the rest of the United States has given up on.
The current investigation is triggered by the disappearance of a patient who appears to have evaporated from her room. A patient who had yet to grasp that she is responsible for the deaths of her three children and isn’t living in her home in Boston anymore. Where is she? How did she escape? As the U.S. Marshals begin their search, what secrets will they uncover in the empty cells, dark corridors, and minds of the psyche ward patients?
We leave you there. The movie from beginning to end is a cluster of clues, begging you to put the pieces together to solve the mystery of Shutter Island. To explain further would ruin that divine moment you will have at the end as all the pieces come together. This movie is not a horror movie; it is one of those psychological thrillers that will completely mess with your head. And no matter what you may think of the movie, we bet you that you will watch it at least once more to pick up on the clues you missed along the journey.
